The 7th RoboCup German Open championship of autonomous, soccer playing robots will take place as part of the largest, industrial trade fair of the world, the Hannover Messe, from April 21 to 25, 2008, in hall 25. Mode Lighting are one of the sponsors of the Darmstadt Dribblers (www.dribblers.de) whose team includes Bruno, one of the fastest footballing robots in the world and at 55cm tall the first robot to score a goal with a back heel kick. The Darmstadt Dribblers are among the best teams of the world and one of the hot favourites for the 2008 Championship and we wish them every success.
